We are interested in the development of mathematical models and algorithms for image processing and its mathematical analysis. Current and recent research topics include: movie and image denoising, segmentation, tracking, perceptual-based color enhancement, image and video inpainting, motion estimation, image fusion, pattern localization, de-interlacing, super-resolution of color images, level lines selection for segmentation, compression and coding, video format conversion, film post-production algorithms, interface motion by curvature and variational principles for transport and irrigation networks.
