Squall² is an audiovisual
environment with position-controlled audio/video/wind processing
and playback.
At the entrance of Squall²
the spectator can light a candle and take it into the space.
The space is occupied by the presents of a projection of a
woman's head; she doesn't pay attention to her public but
is looking around, dreamily. It is only when the spectator
comes close to her with the candle or a lighter that she finally
takes notice and forcefully blows out the flame. At the same
time several ventilators, which are positioned on the walls
beside the projection, produce a strong wind. Following this,
peace returns and the woman again continues to be focused
elsewhere. The spectator overcomes a vulnerable still intangible
feeling.
